Pffffeeeeewwwww!!! Me and Kristen left after our bridal shower (March 29th) to head down to Florida for a week for vacation with my mom, dad, brother and sis-in-law. Awesome trip! It was just what we needed to relax, kick back, and just kind of forget about all the stress from our wedding (which is a month away!)
We stayed overnight Saturday in Georgia, and it was almost impossible to find a hotel. It seems like most of I-95 is under construction in Georgia and of course Saturday a lot of people were stuck in construction traffic for 5 HOURS!!! which is why we had such a hard time finding any hotels with vacancy. Sunday we drove down to Kissimmee, Florida. Man talk about some great weather! It was in the mid-80s all week!
Sea World: We always love going to Sea World (Aquariums in general) so it was a fun day and it really wasn't too crowded.
Disney World: I'm really not a fan of Disney World (I'm not big on rides) and it's just so crowded it's hard to even walk around in there.
Disney World's Animal Kingdom: Awesome place. We went on the Safari which is really cool, and then we made a trip to see "It's Tough to be a Bug!". That show is probably one of the coolest things to see.
Sea World's Aquatica: Well we had all the intentions on going here because all the hype over this place but we couldn't make it. We headed for the parking lot only to discover that the park was at full capacity and they were not allowing anymore guests to enter the park. So maybe next time we will leave early enough to get into the park. :(
Friday: After we couldn't get into Aquatica, we decided to go on an Air boat ride. I've been on them before but it was Kristen's first time and we had a blast! We saw a few alligators! Well after all of our excitement for the week we headed for St. Pete Beach, FL. Kristen and I have never been here before and my parent's wanted to go so we tagged along. All I can say about this place is WOW, beautiful water and beach! Of course we also got sunburned really bad lol.
Saturday: We packed up and headed back home... We stopped overnight in Walterboro, SC.
Sunday: We're back home, in the rain and cold weather =(
